Mitsuru didn't speak "engrish" in the japanese version but Yukari did, while you are in battle and if you manage to hit the enemy with a spell that knocks it down she will say- "Nicee~!!".
When characters level up they also say -"Leveru upo!"
And also, the reward she gives is a arcana card I think (?).
Edit: Also another funny thing was when Mitsuru said -[SPOILER]"So you found the gym key, Tres bien!"[/SPOILER]
And Junpei says - Tray ben? Whats that mean ?

I thought some of the scenes where you have to stay awake during class were hilarious. I loved it when that one guy tried to teach the class black magic.

I have to agree the island vacation was hilarious! Not only that but it is how "real guys" act when left to their own devices awhile. I think the comedy in the game comes off as natural. Nothing seems "forced" as it was in Shadow hearts Covenant. What's bad is some of the stupid or irrational things the characters do or say reflects how I was in HS.

The island vacation is indeed,great.
I think I laughed more when they were all hiding behind that rock... ...and the little "hearts" made it even more funny.

The guy that propositions to make you "famous" was funny. The way he talked so vaguely it could have been as simple as having your face on a cereal box or being in a hardcore XXX porno. He says he'll "contact you" once your fortune has been secured. I think personally he was just a shyster that took my money. lol. (I'm not sure really "if" his intentions are genuine. You can decide to go along with what he is saying or not.)
Next there is "Maya" who you talk online in the mmorpg. I swear Atlus did research on how people act online because she reminds me of about 80% of those I've encountered in real chat rooms. Her net speak is hilarious as well as when she tells you she's drunk. She seems nice, just a bit spastic and not together upstairs.
The NPCs really were well done.

Probably going to take a long while to get the Hermit S.Link maxed out...I don't spend a lot of time with her,just don't like how you spend pretty much the whole day with her,when I could be doing other things.
