I think soon I'll put a beta announcement on the page currently at the old bbs address. Feel free to invite anyone you know to come back and use this bbs, with the caveat lector this is beta and it is still possible we'll have to reject this install. You can announce this address in forums as well. I'll make a sticky post if people start trickling in.

I have a friend that is having some problems registering. The letters that are supposed to pop up for verification aren't popping up for whatever reason.

I'll probably have to make a new fake account to make sure everything is working properly.

I'm working on the verification graphic. Looks like there is just a technical hitch in the way, nothing impossible likely. Probably related to the server's recent php upgrade, but all the modules are in place, so should turn out ok I think.
I'm reticent to open up registration without the verification process, don't want any excuses to let even more bots thru.

In the meantime the audio confirmation system seems to be working just fine 
edited: If your friend is able to register, I'd like to here how everything went precisely.
