Title: Bust A Groove Post by: Tsunehito on December 14, 2006, 11:35:14 PM Does anyone else remember this game, or love it as much as I do? :D I JUST found out that they made a sequel (Kinda) to BAG2, Dance Summit 2001. But yeah, that came out nearly seven years ago in Japan only. So we lose (as usual). D:

Played it, it reminded me of DDR but had different enough gameplay to get me hooked for a while. I keep losing at the robot's stage though. :/

It sounds kind of dumb, but count the beats in your head (or aloud, if you're alone or feel no shame. >.>) Also, as with any other stage, try to memorize/anticipate when a solo sequence is about to begin, then attack one beat before. It doesn't always work, but if it hits, you'll get a big leap ahead in points assuming you don't panic and get disoriented like I do every time a solo starts. I find myself humming Hamm's song randomly -- the music from those games is so addictive. O_O I remember seeing Dance Summit played at a con a loooooong time ago (while we were all standing around in Persona costumes, no less XD) -- and it seemed like an awesome game. I was really sad when they never brought it over. D:
