I posted this at the other Megaten board so I thought it'd be useful here to other who'll soon play the second game.

1. Loopa -> Gale's "Pyriphlegeton" - Load a clear data save of DDS1
2. Jinana -> Argilla's "Seraphic Roar" - 3rd choice event, after Gale is discussing the plans about joining forces with Merrybell. Pick the FIRST choice and you should get a response from Heat.
3. Jenna -> Seraph's "Rebirth Cycle of the 3 Realms" - (DDS2) There are 5 choice events in this game. During the 2nd choice event, at the Karma Association, choose the second answer.
4. Heat to join you - ok, this one depends on answers from both games.
 a. (DDS1) 4th choice event, at Coordinate 136. Pick the first answer so Serph doesn't fight back with Heat. The battle should end with Serph being at a weaken condition.
 b. (DDS1) 8th/last choice event, after you defeat Varon. Pick the first answer, you should get a response from Argilla instead of Heat.
 c. (DDS2) 3rd choice event, at the EGG factory when Heat 'stabs' Serph in the stomach, choose the second answer. <- Apparently the Japanese FAQ has a mix up. Pick the FIRST answer!
 d. (DDS2) 4th choice event, returning the the EGG factory and after you defeat Vitra, choose the first answer.
 e. (DDS2) I'm just adding this one to be safe and reading the Japanese FAQ. Alright at the last choice event, which would be the fifth. Choose the second choice.

1. Underground City after you finish the Meat factory
I'm sure you talk to the little girl(can't remember) as she's the only one who askes you questions.

She'll ask you the whereabouts of Timmy. Pick the first answer about "Timmy not returning". You'll get another question and you have to answer with that he was "Killed and eaten..."

The Japanese FAQ says you'll get medical gear after but doesn't list what it's called.

2. Underground City, Dyaus shooting game
Talk to the other little girl in the corner(bottom right). She'll let you play the video game. There's 3 stages and you get a special item after you beat them all.

3. Karma Association
When it's time to go to the Karma Association, talk to one of the male city members there(he's the one closest to the Association entrance) and he'll talk about naming his son.

If you choose:
a. Serph's name -> Pink sapphire = Any stats +4
b. Heat's name -> Tiger's eye stone = Strength +3
c. Gale's name -> Crimson water crystal = Magic +3
d. Cielo's name -> Bloody ruby = Agility +3
These item names might differ from the US version but the names are in that order...

(Did anyone catch this? If you have the English version, look on page 24. The stat order is messed up. (Bad Atlus USA, bad!) Or maybe they changed it from the Japanese version but I highy doubt that. D:

Remember, the stats are always:
Strength
Vitality
Magic
Agility
Luck)

4. Sala Park/Black George question
Load a DDS clear game save data where you picked the first answer to Black George's question. In Sala Park, talk to one of the female city members and she'll introduce herself as Amelia. She'll give you the "Lotus Flower's Petal". (Kouli's FAQ states that in the end, you'll get a Soma. Maybe a trade in for the flower?) Note: I think Black George was changed to James Mason(?) in the English version...

Awesome Argilla, I'll be able to use this on my second playthrough so that I can get all the moves in DDS2.  I always thought it was first choice, but seeing some of them up there..it isn't exactly like that I see.

No problem and I added/edited the option of having Heat joining your party. Check the letters b and e.

I see, so it's basically first chioce with all the questions in DDS.

I always thought that was stupid, it would have been a bit better if they mixed it up or something, rather than put first choice.  But, it makes things a lot easier so I won't complain. :D

Is there any real need to have Heat around or is just some optional thing for people who might miss him? I don't know that I'll care much unless I'll be missing out on some story segments or something.

Nope, not really. He and Roald are about equal if you get either one of them. I think the only main concern is to finish the linkage list.

Maybe it's for those people who would rather have Heat then Roald.  Heat does replace Roald, right?  I think I read that somewhere..

LATE EDIT: I didn't see Argilla's post, I woulda edited my post sooner but my parents wanted me.  And I'm being serious. :(

Roald replaces Heat in the game. Other than that, I think my post above you is pretty much the point of trying to get them both in two gameplays.

Yeah I agree. I'll go for Heat the first time I play and then Roland the second time.

Sounds like a good idea, I think I might do the same as well.  Then again, I'll see how good Roland is in the second game before I decide.

In my opinion their stats are more or less the same, in the end it will all depend on who you like better... much as I liked Roald, I chose Heat because I wanted a complete Embryon party in the final battle. :P Plus... I liked Heat a lot more in the 2nd game. ^^

Ah, that's good to know.  I guess I'll take Heat the first time then, probably like the same reason as you.  A complete Embyron party for the Final Battle ^_^.

Don't know which I'll pick first. But as far as afterwards I think it would be nice if they did something like Persona 2's EX dungeon and let you assemble your own team depending on tastes.

I have a question, for those who picked the first answer get a response from Heat? Or Argilla?

Japanese capture sites list picking the first choice gets a response from Argilla but a friend told me that Heat responded with the first answer. I guess it doesn't matter, just as long as you pick the first answer.

EDIT: Nevermind. I just checked both the Japanese and English version. x_x; What a pain..anyway, you *do* get a response from Argilla first when you pick the first answer and you do get a response from Heat when you pick the second answer.^^

And by response from Argilla, I mean she's the one to talk *first* despite all she says is, "Huh?"
