Hmm... Let's see.

Games: Killer7 for GameCube, largely. I've not put a lot of time into games recently thanks to school, but this is the main one I've been playing.

Aside from that I recently grabbed a few super cheap Xbox games like Fable, Midtown Madness 3 and Sphinx and The Cursed Mummy.

Movies: Last night I finally got to see Sin City, which I really enjoyed. Before that we watched Cursed (the unrated version) and Constantine... which unfortunately doesn't compare to the comics, but I didn't think it was terrible.

Music: I have a back catalog built up that I've really not even had time to listen to. Lately I've just been playing random Local H and Rolling Stones albums.

Quasar Wut-Wut: March of the Zug and Stiletto. And occasionally "In Mind" by Luna Sea. I hate Japanese music, but I thing the guitar intro is awesome.

Not playing any games, though. I'll be watching Serpant of the Rainbow, though.

Funny, just saw those movies(minus Cursed) the other night, too. D:

Yeah he is. I did defeat one head then the other head cast Agidyne. Plus my characters are low level except Serph.Serph's at 40, Heat at 38, Argilla at 37, Cielo at 37, and Gale at 34.( I don't use gale much ^_^;;)

Yeah, I suggest you get Dekaja/Dekunda combos (2 People with -unda/-kaja spells will do that).  Then just pound on the right head, then left, then center.  Don't forget to have void/drain fire spells!  Also, I beat him with a party of Heat (level 34), Argilla (Level 38), and Cielo (Level 40).  I suggest you FORGET SERPH as well because he's weak to fire and extra press turns are NOT good.

Movie: Going to see "Elephant" whenever it arrives. I just saw Serpent and the Rainbow a few days ago, though. It, uh. Yeah. I didn't like it too much.

Music: "I'm Only Sleeping" by the Vines -- a Beatles cover. One of the few decent covers I've heard of a beatles song -- and it happens to be my favorite Beatles song in general.

Game: Trying to get back into Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town. But it has the most obnoxious controls due to the limited amount of buttons on the GBA -- I always wind up throwing or eating an item... Gah. I guess that's why they implimented the whole "Save Anywhere" option... >_>;

I heard the second one was bad, very bad.  Compared to the first one anyways, but people have different opinions about games..

Agreed. I hated the damn game -- the characters (except Virgil and Ziggy) annoyed the hell out of me. And is it just me, or does Shion's face look like it's too young to be on that body?. It's a pity -- I liked the long FMVs and such, but I thought the characters were horrible. KOS=MOS felt like a robotic, videogame version of Rei from Evangelion (another character I can't stand.)

I hated the second one, mostly because they got rid of the entire REASON I played the Xenosaga series (Takahashi's vision). I was disgusted after seening Soraya Saga's list of what was taken out of XS2. It could have been great :(.

Anyways, Current music: Opeth Ghost Reveries - This came out yesterday, but I've been listening to it for a month or so, so I finally bought it. It's another awesome CD by Opeth.

Games: Hmmm, my worthwhile systems are either broken or in need of new games... so I've been playing some classics NES games like Journey to Sillius, Gyruss, Gradius, The Guardian Legend, etc.

Music: KILLWHITNEYDEAD, Coheed and Cambria, The Mars Volta, From First to Last, Circa Survive, He is Legend

Movies: Random things I catch on tv... I did recently see Sky Capitan and the World of Tomorrow, I feel horrible now, considering it took me a year or two to finally watch it. I also saw The Skeleton Key recently, I really liked it. I plan on seeing The Exorcism of Emily Rose whenever it comes out.

Music: Random Ramones and Buzzcocks songs.
Movies: Nothing new. I've been re-watching Dawn of the Dead (Original, of course) and Shimotsuma Monogatari a few times.
Games: I should get to DDS. Though, I kind of have the urge to play FFVII or Vagrant Story. The latter which I have owned for a year or two but never even opened.

Music: More SH:FtNW goodness~ I need to buy this soundtrack now.

Movie: Secret Window...Johnny Depp, this was not one of your best movies. :\

Music: Green Day - Boulevard of Broken Dreams. ~_~
Movie:  Saw that Dr. Suess movie because I was babysitting my cousin, who insisted on watching it X_X.

Movie: Finding Neverland. Yea, another Johnny Depp movie but this one made me cry at the end.^^;

Music: Shadow Hearts From the New World OST, and Near Death Experience Shadow Hearts Arrange Tracks. Can't stand the games, but at least the music is somewhat decent.

Anyway, Music: I just bought 2 Godspeed You! Black Emperor CDs. I found "Lift your skinny fists like antennas to heaven" and "Yanqui U.X.O." I haven't heard all of these CDs, but what I have heard was awesome.

As far as movies, I rewatched Nightmare Before Christmas a few days ago with my new surround sound. It makes an already awesome movie better.

Because they, you know, suck. At least, I think they do.

Movie: Spanlish, The Incredible Hulk, Tortilla Soup(good movie).

Music: Lots of old Korean stuff. <3

Game: Uh, a very old demo disc. XD Played Silent Hill 4(yay for English VAing and subs) and it gave me a headache.

Game: Currently playing Ys 1 Complete -- it's a lot less obnoxious than the NES Ys games and such. Plus, there's a Soundtrack Replacement, so, we can listen to better arranged music than the shoddy MIDIs. And, Adol is a total man-whore.

Music: Listening to lots of DJ Sharpnel. I don't have a clue what genre it is -- I think I've seen it referred to as "otaku speedvibe" -- whatever that means.

Music: Broken Wings-Tomoko Tane

Game: Pokémon Leaf Green. The game is so slow without the speed up option. Stopped playing Ys when the game crashed after spending a lot of time leveling and not saving. Damn.

Music: Uhm, the first U.S. Pokemon Theme Song... I'm sure I'm not the only one here that enjoys that song. Also, the Yu-No Super Soundtrack.

Music: Yuki Hajiura - "Communication Breakdown" Really cool song. D:

Current Music: FFMusicDJ - Hidden Palace Future.  A remix of Hidden Palace Zone from Sonic 2. D:

Current Game: Replaying RE3, god I love that game.

Current Game: Pokémon Crystal. I got bored of LeafGreen after beating Lt. Surge.

Current game: Devil May Cry. Why does it seem like my relationship with Capcom is an abusive one? They only hurt me with their frustrating difficulty and camera angles... but I keep coming back for more. So I bought Chaos Legion the other day. It's pretty, and I love beat 'em ups, but it's entirely too samey.

Music: Death From Above 1979's "You're a Woman, I'm a Machine" album. Bass n' drums combo, I like.

Movies: Just borrowed Ichi the Killer, going to watch that tonight.

Current Game: Nothing, really. I'm thinking about getting Radiata Stories, though, it's not getting very good reviews.

Watched "Girl, Interrupted" which was a pretty good movie. Now I'm watching "Evil Woman"(aka "Saving Silverman")...yea, that's what the Indian channel list it as.^^;

Move: I just watched Sin City a few days ago, and WOW that thing rocked hard!

Music: I'm have No-Man's Returning Jesus and Together We're Stranger rotating in my CD player. Both are very excellent releases.

Game: I'm going through DDS again still... very slowly, lol. I also just picked up Viewtiful Joe for like 10 bucks, so I'm playing that. I'm debating on  renting or buying Radiata Stories, too.

Movie: I have "Red Lion" and "Milenium Actress" but have yet to get around to them, maybe later tonight.

Games: I'm working on a complete clear save on DDS, as well as playing Nocturne.

Music: I've been listening to a lot of Nightwish, and would be playing "Nemo" right now, if my computer were not on the fritz.

Current Video Game: I'm fickle, so you know I'm playing more than one. It's Makai Kingdom and Disagea: Hour Of Darkness.

Howl´s Moving Castle is quite nice, and besides, it´s Miyazaki, so the animation is really beautifull.

Movie: Nothing. I had saw The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and Sahara a week or so ago. Didn't like either very much. I plan on trying to see David Lynch's "Lost Highway" next, if I can.

Music: Baten Kaitos OST -- probably the only Motoi Sakuraba OST I can stomach. And  Faith No More's "Epic".

Game: Digital Devil Saga, and Okage: Shadow King. The latter is awesome -- you all should try it. Pretty underrated game. :\

Current Movie - Just saw "Jacob's Ladder", it's weird. I'm sure it would've affected me more if I hadn't read "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge" before the movie, thus knowing what was really going on in the movie. It's kind of like Silent Hill -- I remember even reading a theory about Silent Hill 1's ending being that [spoiler]the events in Silent Hill didn't really happen, but were dreamt by Harry while he lay dying in his car[/spoiler] -- which obviously was inspired by Jacob's Ladder. I like how everything's kind of unexpected. Too bad that, ultimately, if you already know what's going on, then you won't like it as much as you probably should...

Current game: Right now at work I'm playing King of Fighters 2000. When I go home, Viewtiful Joe Battle Carnival.

Current Music: Final Fantasy VII Advent Children OST. It's actually pretty mediocre. "Water" is nice, though.

There are 22 titles present I believe. Forgotten Worlds, Son Son, 1942, 1943 Kai, Final Fight, SF II & II Turbo, Section Z, Legendary Wings, Trojan, Bionic Commando are just a few of the titles -- I heard the PSP version will have Side Arms and Strider as a bonus.

That makes the PSP version very interesting to me. Hope it's true.

My only complaint with the collection is that Bionic Commando is that horrid arcade version. The NES version is so much better.

Speaking of collections, I'm looking forward to that Taito one that's coming out here (via Sega, I think). The recently announced Hudson ones should be awesome too, assuming they come out here. I'd like that Adventure Island collection, myself.

Anyway... Listening, I've been playing a mix. Mostly YMCK, which is this really fun jazz inspired Japanese 8-Bit band. Normally I don't listen to Japanese music or 8-Bit music extensively, but this just is amazingly good.

Playing, Dragon Quest 8 demo (finished it last night, plan on trying the battle mode today) and a bit of Metal Arms: Glitch in the System. That game is brutal at times.

Game: Terranigma. Goddamn tightrope walking. Only on the 4th Tower. I think I prefer Soul Blazer... Ark is awesome, though -- he walks like he's M.C. Hammer.
Music: "Persona Ondo" from Persona 2: Innocent Sin on loop. Ondo > Mambo.
Movie: I rented Lost Highway. I got bored, though, so I stopped.

If you like the Soulblazer series, do yourself a favor: don´t play Illusion of Gaia.

I hate Illusion of Gaia. So far, Soul Blazer is still my favorite, heh. You ever notice how the Title Screen music in Illusion of Gaia sounds like a complete rip off of a Final Fantasy V song?

Game: Still playing Xenosaga. On the last two dungeons. x_x; I'll need to buy part 2 soon.

Music: Lots of Ai Otsuka despite her voice is too high-pitched, I love her songs.

No, I'm sticking with Soul Blazer as my favorite in the "Blazer" series. I like Terranigma and Soul Blazer, though, because it seems to have been what inspired Dark Cloud (one of my favorite games). I've been noticing a few enemies and various things that Dark Cloud took a lot of inspiration from. Maybe Enix (or Quintet?) should let Level-5 try their hand at making a new Soul Blazer game? That'll never happen, of course, but still...

Obviously that wasn't a good tactic. I'm still undecided on which path I'm going to go with (Yosuga or Musubi)

I've only defeated the first 2 colossi in Shadow of the Colossus -- I seem to have a hard time actually finding the damn things, though -- apparently, a big beam of goddamn light shooting out of a sword isn't enough to help my horrible sense of direction. The game has awesome character designs -- the Protagonist, the Girl, and even the Colossi are all awesome looking. On to Final Fantasy IV -- how the hell can Cecil be only 5'8" and 128lbs, yet still be able to walk around in that that heavy looking armor? That's about my Weight and Height, and I doubt I could even actually stand with that armor on. Crazy Japanese.

Sorry about the late response.  I really like RS -- I feel it was poorly represented by it's U.S. reviews and truly misunderstood.  The story is kind of cool, but it is sparse and you have to 'feel' it out for yourself as the game is very nonlinear.  The focus is definitely on gameplay/combat versus story.  I really dig the art and character/creature design.  The game can be very difficult at times, but that is a plus in my book.  In case you didn't know, the leveling system does not use experience points -- instead it is kind of usage based.  Fight with and become proficient with a melee weapon and you will gain skills for that weapon and gain physical strength, lose a lot of hit points in a battle and you might gain hp for your total, use magic and gain intelligence or will power....you probably get the point.  Sorry my explanation is not that great... :buh:   Also, the music for the game is amazing IMO.

Current Game: Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Mellenium - Never had enough time to play this game and ended up forgetting the story.  So I'm doing it again. ^_^

Movie: Watched two movies I wasn't really happy about. "Land of the Dead" was full of laughs and I was hoping it'd be scary. I didn't like "The Devil's Rejects" either though the ending was pretty good. (I still like the first movie a bit better.)

Game: Currently sticking with "Kingdom Hearts 2" for now. I guess I'll get to the other games after I beat this one.

I've been playing too many different games at random intervals to count. I think most of my time has gone to Sly Cooper 2, though. Great game.

I've been obsessed with the latest Edan album, Beauty and the Beat. I've had it for quite some time, but several weeks ago it somehow leaked its way into my normal rotation and it's yet to leave. I don't listen to a lot of hip-hop (especially since what usually seems to appeal to me is not all that super popular and so I have no easy way to find it), but this is really damn good. Highly recommended.

The last movie I watched was Fight Club, which has become one of my favorite movies of all time. I finally bought the damn thing after having been curious about it for years. I loved the book and the movie was exactly how I wanted it to be.

The music I'm currently listening to, well, I've been keeping it fairly random today. The last few bands have been The Number Twelve Looks Like You, The Fall of Troy, Prayer For Cleansing, Pretty Girls Make Graves, The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, Cristiansen, Kylesa, and Circle Takes the Square. There's some really odd names in that list.

I am also currently playing the game, Shin Megami Tensei Digital Devil Saga 2, I need to beat it sometime, lol. I'm actually nowhere close, I just started it last week. I'm in some towery place after beating a group of three powerful asuras for the second time.

I received Chibi Robo for the GameCube in the mail from GameFly last night. I put a couple of hours into it, since I wound up being home by myself.

The game has some issues (the voices get incredibly grating; the text scrolls too slowly and cannot be sped up), but it's incredibly charming. It starts off somewhat slowly, but as you meet new characters, find new items and gain new abilities it really picks up. I don't think it will be for every one, but it's definitely worth a try.

My friend is currently playing "Chibi Robo" as well. :) She finds it really entertaining and I want to play it but eh, no GC! XD;

I've been watching movies lately.^^; Let's see, I watched "Zoolander" last night which I find absolutely hilarious despite what some say. "Orange Mocha Frappuccino!"

My music has been mixed around lately been Japanese and English but I think that's too be expected. Right now I'm listening to Utada and Ayumi Hamasaki's new stuff.

Dragon Quest VIII is absolutely excellent. I've been a fan of the series since the original and I was very happy with it. Made up for some of the mess involved in VII.

And now that it's only $20 (in the US anyway) most people should just run out and buy it if they haven't already. It's completely worth it.

.hack Reminisce:  It is a continuation of the first game, and if you played Rebirth and liked it you will probably like Reminisce as well.  

They added enough new elements so that it doesn't feel as though you are playing the exact same game, but it is obviously still very similar (gameplay wise) to the first game.

I am really looking forward to Odin Sphere as well.  The 23rd can't come soon enough!

Etrian Odyssey is great. Classic first person dungeon crawling. Minimalist story with a cool narrative, fun map making, slightly above average difficulty... You should play it if you like first person dungeon crawls.

Odin Sphere.  I have just started on the 4th character and playing Odin Sphere has been a great experience so far.  

Battles can be quite challenging and a little frustrating at times, but the story, music and graphics are all top notch.

Haha, not really. It's Hitoshi Sakimoto, for Christ's sake. It's basically the same garbage he used in Final Fantasy XII. And Final Fantasy Tactics. And Vagrant Story. I don't really consider the same rehashed music "top notch", but I guess others may beg to differ. I actually like, you know, variation.

Anyway, I can agree on Hitoshi Sakimoto's work sounding the same for the most part. A few of his soundtracks actually do sound different from his FF work though, but what does sound similar I still think is very well done. I like him, so whatever.

I agree. I think there a lot of his work can sound similar, but when it is that good, why deviate? He is probably my favorite VG composer. The soundtracks to FFT, VS, and FF XII sounding alike kind of fits for me. They all take place in the same universe after all. I really dig Radiant Silvergun's track, and as you mentioned before Sayck, Gradius V and BoF DQ had excellent tracks. I think his music fits the atmosphere and themes of the games they are present in more so than many composers. His work always does a great job of representing the gravity of the situation during boss battles.

On the subject of Final Fantasy Tactics, I think Masaharu Iwata did the better job. Tutorial is my favorite song from the OST. The only OST that Sakimoto has worked on that I enjoy is Stella Deus, and a lot of the better songs were, again, by Masaharu Iwata. The only song from Vagrant Story I can stand is "Dawn of Lea Monde". Final Fantasy XII lacks any stand-out tracks, even with the aid of Iwata, and Hayato Matsuo. Though, I did enjoy the Prelude arrange in "Loop Demo", I only wish the actual Prelude part were longer.

And, back on the subject of the topic, I'm currently playing Final Fantasy XII. I'll probably get sick of it within another day or two, and will start on Odin Sphere.

Yeah, Basicscape did the music.  It is Sakimoto + 4 or 5 other composers.

I was just trying to clear up that the music wasn't just by Sakimoto.  

I am neutral when it comes to Sakimoto's music.  It doesn't really impress me or bother me, in fact I barely even remember many of his tracks.  

Anyway, Odin Sphere is fun but it can get old really fast if you aren't amped about the story.  I can see many people just beating one or two characters then never touching the game again.

I didn't care for DDS 2 that much either.  But maybe that was because I was rushing through DDS 2 since Romancing SaGa came out the week after it was released.  

Eh who am I kidding, DDS 2 was nowhere near as good as the first game (aside from the improved skill tree).

The first Wild ARMs is the best, forget the remake.

None of the Wild Arms games that I have played have been all that great.  I still need to play II as well as V so maybe my opinion will change afterwards.  

But given my lackluster opinion about the other entries in the series I seriously doubt my feelings will change all that much.

I was playing the first Wild Arms game a few years back. It froze on me when I was loading a game, and I never bothered going back to it.

The original Wild Arms has alot of compatibility issues when played on a ps2.  The game is pretty much 100% likely to freeze up eventually.  

WA was one of the first games that I played for the ps and I was totally underwhelmed by the jump to 3-d.  At the time I was left wondering why they even bothered with 3-d if WA was the best they could accomplish.

I enjoyed Alter Code F.

I liked it because of Calamity Jane. She's awesome.

She was neat. The game is pretty easy, but there were a lot of small, cool things about it. I liked the graphics engine as well. The story was meh.

I've never even played Alter Code F.

I've got too much going on in RL, seriously, that's it. Atlus is too busy for me to keep up with, that's all. Yeah, don't sweat it. I'm just informing of my disappearence this time instead of simply shuffling off anonymously. I'm sure I'll register, I just doubt I'll be around much, that's all. :P

Movies I rented: Streetfight, Heavy Metal, The Phantom Tollbooth.

Games I've played: Final Fantasy III, Katamari Damashi, and I've been trying to master Cho Aniki.

Music I've been listening to: Millie Small, some old Blue Beat records stuff, and a lot of New Order.

Yes, yes!!! Another Megaten title, Megami Ibonroku Persona: Be your true Mind. Only P3 and FES and I will have all the Persona series. And of course if it counts, Megaten Imagine Online (at last!!).

Well, I'm stuck at work at the moment...so I'm not watching anything.  And who knows what I'll be watching later.

As for a game that I'm currently playing, I had to take a break from P3.  Its awesome, no doubt.  But, I had just put in too much time right off the bat.  Besides, I didn't want it to end too quickly.  So, I'm taking a break from it and playing through Devil May Cry 3.  

For the music...right now, its Tapping the Vein's "Crushed."

Now playing: Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne (againts Lucifer) and once I finish it, I´m going to play Avatar Tuner 2, and when those two are completed I´m going with Persona 3 (finally!!).

Games:Persona 3,Guilty Gear Accent Core and I finally bought Marvel vs Capcom 2 again.(I cried when I spent my last 80 bucks that day. But the good thing is it can go for $300 *grins*)

Movies:hm.... Well I did watch the end of formula 51. I just hate the last part. Naked.... Samuel L. Jackson. *shudders* And I've watched the whole Shadow Skill series. (That show rocks) But on another note. I broke my toe kicking someone's elbow and now I owe about 2000 push ups due to a condition that for every time I swear I do 20. (Yes I am the sober, sleep deprived sailor in most things.) Well I will's be gettins muscly. *flexes with cartoon effect droopage* Ah well... Everyone... Keep rockin'! And don't ever quit on anything in life. If you feel there is no one there for you. It means you haven't looked hard enough... If anyone can or would be there. It'd be me. *bows out to the song Helena by MCR followed up with Metallica I disappear and Unforgiven II.* The beast has found his soul... I am free now to do as need be.
