The second one, there is a character that looks like Milli Rage from Guilty Gear. Good work.

Thanks much Emilio! guilty gear x-2 was one of my favorite fighters. I saw it sort  as a "what  if" the  shin megami tensei games would have been similar to if they made a MegaTen brawler. Of course being a "fan" means anything you do will be slightly influenced by what you like. I'm no exception to that rule. lol.

Not bad,they are pretty good drawings.I like the second one the most,mainly because of them all bunched up together.

I,myself as an artist,have trouble with group images sometimes..it's the height,background and foreground of placing characters,that I'm really picky on.

But overall,keep it up.

Character group pictures are hard so I sympathize Enid. My friend once said it's best to draw full body versions of every character then layer them together. I didn't do that for this group picture sadly. I noticed right away not every character was realistically to scale though their are other character colleagues I've seen that are more chaotic like mine. Alot of the older "Dark stalkers" posters were like that but I loved them anyway.

Here are a few more illustrations to boot! A lot of these are character roughs,commission pieces, a few of my friend Alex's ideas put into visual context,or inspiration gotten from playing tabletop rpgs. Most are older works so I'm afraid quality might suffer a bit.

Yeah,the older Dark Stalkers posters were pretty cool the way they were.

Just so we're on the same page here...you mean the game right? I'm just making sure,I don't see too many fans of that series nowadays...it's been a long time since there's been anything new from them.Except for that one on the PSP,but it's just all 3 games put into one basically.

Anyways...back to the drawings.Very cool character designs there,poses work well with them,really like how you did the whole kissing/making out with two characters,you got it down pretty good.

Yeah, I mean the games Enid! It was a nostalgic fighter franchise I grew up with. I had the super rare Vampire Savior for the PS-1 but sadly after I moved home from college a lot of my  awesome stuff got misplaced. As for the "make out" scenes those are fun. I try to make my characters a bit warm blooded unlike  the ones in Final Fantasy where "holding hands and hugging" makes babies and is the FF way of having sex. That's not an attack on the franchise, I just wonder if it would really hurt Square/enix to make an FF with a "mature" label.

I remember the first time I played DS was at an arcade in Las Vegas,spent all my money on that.Then I bought the one for the Saturn,I think it was part two...I can't remember.I really loved that series.



Hehe,I find that funny...because it is true.
Would be nice for a change if they did go further atleast once.

As for the ideas of characters having more emotion,is always good..it brings out the personality in those characters,in which I do the same with my own original characters.

It's weird because square/enix has the most scantily clad sexy females ever and yet they are all naive prudes whereas in SMT most main characters dress more conservative yet the  world they're in addresses sex and violence as real issues. I'd so bang Fran from FF 12 (drools). I mean, who would do a video game character! That's absurd! (awkward grin.)

I'll put up more art soon Enid and Emilio. Thanks for the feed-back! I got a lot more stuff but I know not to show anything that is overly erotic. When I do more "general audience" illustrations I'll update here.

I see you modified Dante's costume a bit. Looks pretty cool. His choker collar looks as if it is made of metal. Useful against blood sucker demons to be sure. The Squall and Rinoa picture is neat too!

Not bad at all....though the mouths are a bit larger then I would think them to be....

But your bodys are indeed a strong part of your drawings!

I do a lot of comics also in my free time.  I'm working on several one-pagers that tell stories from my life except all the characters are cartoon monsters from various mythologies and I try to tell the stories without mentioning anyone by name, including myself.

Pretty awesome creative  stuff. I saw a guy that looked like afro samurai and I liked the back jean shot of the pretty smoker girl. Sorta like a "what if" collection of images if say SMT had a game that happened during the summer of love in 69 or  the disco era of the 70's. "Moose head" cultists scare me however. lol.

I agree,that is some awesome drawings there.Glad to know another artist who is into making comics,in which I have one myself.

Really love the first one,I've never seen that kind of idea with a deer on his face,but the background and the whole drawing altogether,works really well.Not only how it's colored,but what you have going on in the foreground and the background.I lack at doing backgrounds sometimes,due to the fact..I just can't think of what to put there,I focus too much on the characters.

But anyways..enough about me,all the others are really good,nice character designs going on.

As an aspiring concept designer, I thought I might upload one image I like. I drew this myself in pencil, scanned it in and was hence annoyed at the crappy quality.

This is line art for a monster/character I'm designing for my game project (I go to uni). It might be basic and mono, but I was quite pleased.

It´s pretty easy, to use and that´s were I upload my images, but you should be careful to save your pictures, in JPG format, because you can´t upload a file bigger than 1 MB I guess.

Yeah, it is heavily based on Serph's demon design. Of course, it's just an idea now but I really want to do a nice inked version of it with bits added, taken out etc.

Great design. I like the serpentine tentacles that come out of the eye sockets. I agree it would fit in perfectly as a character transformation in an SMT title. :azn:

Thanks for the compliments, guys.  Most of that stuff is old oekaki doodlings.  Comics really take up most of my time right now.

I like more light hearted "tripping stuff" devilry. I think society today focuses too much on the dark side of things and even I'm guilty of that on occasion. I was thinking perhaps you could illustrate cd covers for bands or even create cool t-shirts. However  since you are busy with a comic book time might not be on your side for other pursuits.

Some character designs I'm working on for an rpg idea. If they look like Persona influenced characters it's because P3 did in fact inspire some ideas when concept art was drawn. My friend also had a role to play with a few characters he came up with during our table-top rpg  sessions.

Does anyone have any Digital devil saga art.

Sadly I don't think the recent DDS games came with an art book but Tony did put up a lot of stuff from the demon compendium in the DDS data-base of creature designs + their respective mythological descriptions Luppi. As far as custom fan-art goes Lycanthroat was working on a kick ass creature design that looked  like the demon form of an avatar tuner + The DDS data-base does have some very good fan art of Persona,Nocturne, and Digital Devil characters.

Btw thanks Emilio! I've drawn alot of designs but coloring them all is going to take awhile. Even whipped up some custom Persona designs which you'll see in the future.

No prob!! I´m having the same problem, coloring my drawings take a lot of time and dedication since I´m not good at coloring. I also have some Personas made by my own that I want to post, but they´re in black and white. I hope I cant post them soon.

I am sorry for being a bother but if anyone has played DDS 1 there is a gang leader named Beck and well I had a really hard time defeating the mini boss before him and well I have always wanted to see what he looked like in his demon form if anyone has a image of his demon, since I have seen some demons reused in different shin megami games.

Don't know about the DDS art but I colored another character. Another collab between me and my friend. He did the concept and I did her design.

There is an in depth story but I find that people are less willing to read long winded descriptions online then they are from a book. I think the monitor ends up hurting people's eyes. lol. My flickr account has detailed info of each character with their pictures but I found posting links here requires more then a simple "copy paste".
