saw this in the p3 forum on gamefaqs:
"...Atlus revealed that a new installment of Persona is in development for PS3, the game will be revealed after Tokyo Game Show is over..."

Any thoughts on this? Could it really be in the works already?

It would be interesting if P4 is a direct story sequel to P3...it would be even more interesting if you can transfer your save data from P3 to unlock Minato Arisato.

Man, it would be perfect if they began working on that project. While ATLUS Japan is working on that, ATLUS US will need to work on P3 FES XD.

I heard that the web that announce the news aren't really that official and truthful. .
Well, we could always hope. But damn, did they forget about FES?

That would definately be a great idea there,but it's really hard to say if that will actually work.I mean,sure..most of the Persona games are in the same world..or rather,timeline? So having a character from a previous title might seem possible...but I get the feeling,it just won't work all the way.

I'm going to wait until we see it because until then I have a hard time believing it... This is also the company that has announced non-existent DS and PSP Megaten games before even assigning teams to develop them. If they don't show it I'll almost just assume it doesn't exist.

Plus, it's a gamefaqs forum. 99.9% of the things posted there is crap.

P4 would be one of the few things to make me get a PS3 but I'm not celebrating based on a rumor. Hope it is true that's all I'll say.

It probably won't be Persona 4. It's just too soon.

The latest interview with Kaneko mentioned the next Megaten game being Devil Summoner on the PS3 or Wii.

Another Devil Summoner? I wouldn't mind that.

P3 was pretty successful, so they could've switched gears towards making P4, we'll find out at TGS.

Same here, Persona should be a later development. I want to try Devil Summoner or something other than Persona. . I mean, after Persona 3, I think I'm just too tired to play another 'persona' again in a row ^^;

It's possible they've been working on it secretly ever since the nameless PS3 Megaten game was announced. Still, I have doubts.
