I'm not sure how many of you remember that online game that was on the Japanese Persona 3 website. I never got anywhere in it since I don't know Japanese.

I noticed today that they have a new game on atlusnet.jp. It's called Digital Devil Arcanum. I'm not entirely sure what it provides mostly because I can't seem to create a new ID (when registering it says "array:" and doesn't let me proceed. You can view it here: http://jakyo.atlusnet.jp/

Atlusnet also has two podcasts about this game (http://www.atlusnet.jp/netradi/index.html), but yet again I have no idea what they are about.

Any ideas?

I try to play it but same as the other Persona 3 game, it says that the site do not accept "Free e-mail Adress" damn, I want to play those ones. But the question is, what kind of e-mails do I need to use to create an account?

Ah! I forgot all about that free e-mail address issue. I have a few that aren't, so I'll give them a try and take some screen grabs if I can.

Cool, at least some screenshots would be good, just to see what about those games.

*edit* Okay, I kinda made a little walk through for registering. If anyone can put down which email types dont work, it'd be helpful. I figure Yahoo.* (com/ca/whatever) and Hotmail.com don't work. rogers.com worked for me though.

Firstly, you need to disable pop-ups, since the register window is a pop-up. Next, poke the purple button, and then the purple button on the left on the next page. A pop-up will appear. It's asking for you to enter your email twice and it'll send you a conformation email. If for some reason the pop-up wont appear, try going here: http://member.atlusnet.jp/regist/input

Step two: If you get a screen like this: (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/Jessicat_715/SMT/email-succeeded.png) congrats, your email went through and it should be in your inbox. Mine went to the junk mail folder, so be sure to look everywhere for it >>

Step three: after you find the email, open it up and you should find the confirmation URL. Click it and you'll end up here: (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/Jessicat_715/SMT/confirmurl.png)

Step four: Go back to your email (junk folder?) and you'll have another email. That's your password under your email address. Now you can go back to the main page and login by clicking the blue button! You might get this screen instead

 just go to atlusnet and click the link to the game from there, it's picky for some reason >_>

Step five: I dunno yet! XD now I'm actually gonna try this out X3

Well, I'm going through the intro, very slowly. good news is, all the text is selectable and therefore translate-able XD I'm assembling a word document of the intro sequence in original Japanese along with translations from both google and babelfish; it's interesting to know what you're reading before you make choices, yes?

You really are awesome, you know that? Thanks for this. I'll be looking into logging into it tomorrow. I did have a login for the Persona 3 web game, but I can't recall it.

Also, I have no problems with double posting here as long as both posts offer something decent. I only am bothered with it when people use a second post to correct their first post instead of editing. You're good to go lol.

Looks like they're an internet provider up in Canada that provides e-mail addresses you can access from Yahoo.com, but aren't actually free. I have one of these through AT&T. You'd have to have their service to get the e-mail.

Oh! Thanks for clearing things out. Damn... It appears this is other Megaten game that I will no play. :sadani:

well, if you use an unconventional "free" email, it might let you login with it, I do recall seeing some anime fansites and such with the option to get your own "email@whatever.com", though I don't know any offhand right now ^^;

Okay, I got bored and went looking for a few unconventional free emails. Found THIS (http://www.anipike.com/index.php?env=-inlink/index:m73-1-1-3-s&Action=m_sort_cats) list, and www.otakumail.com looks promising, but I haven't tested it with the game yet ^^;

I already try with the otakumail, and the page give me the "array" thing. I will try with the others on the list and I´ll tell you. Thanks for the help Jessicat. :mickey:

Hmmm, took another try at the game yesterday; It seemed to be going the same as before, so i figured nothing was updated and skipped a lot of dialogue ^^; however, I somehow managed to fuse a different demon this time. I think whatever demon is fused has some kind of meaning, like a fortune o.O Well, I got 2 more Magnetite from the fusion guy too, yay for me.
