I went to http://www.popanime.net/megami/phpBB2/index.php

Intending to try to search up some old information, but it looks like there is nothing there. It says there are so many registered users and a couple active, but there are no forums as far as mine eye did see. Is this forum private now? Or was this just a momentary bug / down period I'm experiencing?

I remember a friend of mind telling about that,I think it's set to registered users can only view the forum.

The forum is there, but is dead nothing new and they deleted a lot of Threads.

Really? That sucks...that makes that forum even less useful now.

Yup! There is more movement right here than there. At least in here we talk about other things when there is no news on the Megaten universe, but in the Megaten Haven, is all dead. I guess the IMAGINE section have attracted some new users and the new anime of Persona and the changes on the forum have kept us with something to talk.

Last night it looked like all threads/sections were deleted. Could've been a php timeout or something though. Now I get a 404 page!

though most of the old topics have been obliterated, even if you register and login there's not much there anymore.

Yeah, seems I'd double entered the link when posting. So you have to register to see anything now?

Weird, I wonder what the deal was. I noted that a lot of people I remember meeting briefly at MH never actually appeared here, so it's not like this dinky forum is stealing much of the userbase.

It always seemed like the Atlus forums (particularly since the revamp) and GameFAQs kind of took this series over enough that boards like this one can't really compete well. Not that I'm complaining, really... I am not exactly a fan of managing forums lol.

Funny, because there's always be an animosity/superiority against the Gamefaqs and AtlasUSA boards amongst contributers in the forums I've frequented.

Have to admit..I find more info at GameFAQs than at Megaten Haven.Even read about FES from there,and they talked about the story,what goes on,what happens here and there,in several other topics.

MH just had some summary about it..and that was it.

I believe the reason they set it so only registered users could browse the forum is because whiny Brand banned me, and I guess she thought it would piss me off if I couldn't browse the forum [or that it would, somehow, prevent me from coming back and trolling], but it didn't because I haven't been back there since I was banned. Prince Aries, an admin there, I believe ran the PHPBB2 pruning-thing or something and that's why a lot of threads are missing. At least, that's what he told me.

As I've stated in other threads, the Haven hasn't been worth anyone's time in around 4 years.

I figure its pretty much clubhouse anymore. Was there a descriminable reason you were banned? Or just because?

Any forum on a public topic that cannot be read without registration should be put down, or at least tucked away where no one can find it.

I was banned because some new guy got pissed off at me for making a remark about something I can't even recall, but it wasn't directed towards him or anyone else on the Haven, but regardless, he started this huge flame war against me, of which I didn't really partake in (I never flamed him back; but others did). Brand got pissed off at me, PMed me and was all like, "Oh, if you've nothing nice to say, then don't say anything at all," or something equally stupid along those lines. I retorted with a PM stating she's a mediocre, neglectful admin [only in more words than that], and according to Prince Aries, I was banned for what I said in the PM. Though, I was always under the impression that PMs were, in a way, separate from the forum. Go figure. I don't really care all that much, because the Haven was as good as dead, anyway, and I had my own forum to go to and post on.

Funny, that was exactly (word by word) what happened to me. I guess you gotta hand it to them -- finally they stood by a precident!
