Title: WARNING: Our account's storage might be full up Post by: yksehtniycul on October 21, 2008, 02:02:13 AM While using ftp today I've run into sudden error messages about the disk (storage) being full.
If this is in fact the case, it's most likely some other account on the host is using the storage (and will probably notice and delete some stuff) I'll try to get word to Jose. In the meantime I deleted everything in the sites video folder. I'm not sure this site is equipped for video anymore in any case. That was nearly 800MB. So unless the offender fills that up just as fast we should be ok for now. Any future video on the site needs to be served up by youtube or google video or whatever. Afaik Youtube videos, for example, tend to stay where they are. If anyone knows a reliable way to similarly to directly host audio and large files similarly we might do that as well. Like I've said a couple times I'll eventually install a plugin so I can give contributors upload rights. I just haven't gotten around to that yet. I'm beginning to people don't really read my posts.
