Awesome. I wonder what that leaves for them to announce at E3... an interview I read made it sound like they had at least a handful of surprises for it. Between this, Contact, the Super Robot Taisen games and that othe GBA title I forget, they're pretty stacked this year.

RPGFan claimed that Atlus said they'd have new info on this on their site days ago. It never happened. I e-mailed their press e-mail, but I'm not home to see if they responded. We'll see.

As of late my interest in this game has increased dramatically. Nothing new has happened, really, but I find myself really needing some sort of new SMT-style fix. With Persona 3 out there's not a lot of new news coming in related to Megaten, so the next best thing to do is anticipate upcoming games lol.

Apparently it's coming out on October 10th in the US. It's on Atlus's press site, although I don't know when they actually put that up there.

Whee! Pre-ordering fills me with such joy. :D Are there going to be any special items released with a pre-order-like a soundtrack- does anyone know? -crosses fingers-

I asked Atlus if they were doing any sort of "special edition" things with this game and was told basically "no". That might have changed since then.

Of course, maybe they thought I was referring to some big boxed set or something. I was referring more to the included soundtrack with Nocturne or the pack-ins with the original DDS.

I guess we shall see. I figure we'll hear about it very, very soon if they are doing something. It's supposed to come out this October, as was mentioned. It's not far off now.

Boo to that. Hopefully they'll toss something in at the last minute; A soundtrack, a keychain, a sticker... a wad of chewed gum that kinda resembles Kuzunoha--anything! Just... sell me stuff.

That's why I love Atlus. They always have these little gimmicky items to include. Rule of Rose soundtrack was one of them > . >

It'll probably be on eBay right away. You never know what Atlus games are going to fetch a higher price, but I have to imagine that, early on at least, it won't be hard to find for a fair amount

It got good Japanese reviews. I hope it gets a fair shake here, but I've noticed a good deal of RPG reviews in major publications that imply to me that they're sometimes not played more than several hours maximum. You never know lol.

When I get it I plan on doing my own review for the site as well as a "Game Journal" (I've yet to come up with a better name), which I'd basically use for hands on impressions as I go through the title. I thought it might interest some, but for my purposes it would be a good way to keep notes for any expansion of the section on my site...

Was hoping the official website would be up by now...o_o; Since it's coming out in like, 10 days! *twirls* Also, I'm wondering why this game wasn't hyped as much as SMT3 and DDS1&2? Even when the JP release was out, a lot of boards were dead on reviewing/talking about it. o_O;

As far as I know, it's still the 10th. Most gaming sites still list it as the 10th, anyway...

I'm also starting to wonder about this game. For one, they still haven't put up a site for it. Usually they put one up at least a few weeks ahead of time, if not more. - site's up

I've yet to see a single print ad for it. I could have missed it. However, Nocturne, DDS and DDS2 all had ads in magazines. ads are in Hardcore Gamer Magazine, etc.

There's been no sort of recent impressions, which kind of implies no one has review copies. Who knows about this, but it kind of adds to the fire.

I don't know. I feel like it might be delayed. Perhaps even slightly. Beyond gaming sites, the Atlus press section itself still does say October 10th.

We'll see, I guess.

Yeah, I just noticed that myself actually lol. I expected it to appear on the bottom news reel and totally forgot about that one on the left. I didn't even look there recently. It's funny that even on there it just says "October".

Anyway, I don't even have it pre-ordered yet... Hopefully Gamestop will have some in and I can just trade in some games. I definitely cannot afford it right now.

Reviews of the game are popping up now. Seems most stores did get it in already and Amazon and so forth look to be shipping today. I should get it at work tomorrow, so that'll be a good night lolo.

Just picked DS up -- maybe I will give impressions a little later.

I discovered today that Amazon apparently decided not to ship my copy of Devil Summoner. The status never changed, so I cancelled it. Luckily, I wandered over to a Gamestop 1.5 miles away and they had just received a package containing that and some other titles.

3 people reserved the game and they got 12 in total. So I walked away with the game and am really looking forward to popping it in tonight.

Without saying too much, it is pretty cool to see some demons I haven't noticed in a Megaten related game since the Persona titles.

I managed to get a copy after much hassle at my local EB. I took three seperate trips, mostly because they kept getting the arrival time of their shipment wrong.

Regardless, I'm throughly enjoying myself. The lack of voices seems more off to me than I thought it would, mostly because of the lip animation and expressivness of the faces. Hell, there were a few points at the beginning when I actually heard voices when they're weren't any.

Oh, and no matter how much I like the guy, Narumi needs to stop using the term "bird". Now. It's seems to out-of-place.

I'm so jealous! :( I haven't gotten my copy since they haven't arrived at the stores over here yet.

Anyone check out the guidebook? I'm pretty glad they made one for this game, too. :)

I have the guide, by the way. It's pretty cool from what I've seen, but I've not actually used it while playing at all. The game's main points are not terribly difficult to figure out through messing around.

Haha, I'm not sure about completely disinterested but I didn't have that same 'exciting' feeling as I did back when I played the demo last year at TGS. I guess the lack of talk and news pretty much threw me off and bored me...but now I'm back in! >D

One thing I'm curious about the guide: Any new artwork that we haven't seen before? 3D artwork as well?
