ATLUS announce in one of their ATLUS Faithful mails, that the re-make of Megami Ibonroku Persona, will reach North America by the fall of this year. It looks like ATLUS USA is taking the Persona really serious since it was the series that attracted a lot of people to the Megatenfranchise that they're going to localize the game the same year that it will be released in Japan.

More information will be revealed the following weeks so maybe we can expect the exact date for the release or some cool goods that will be included with the game.

That word "Localize" scares me. Are they going to "Localize" it like they did the original *shiver*

On that note I WILL NOT be buying it in stores and will await the UNDUB version of it when it is available. If it is not forthcoming, it will be another game I will skip.

^I hope they don't screw it again this time :crying:

ATLUS ha anunciado en uno de sus correos electrónicos de "ATLUS Faithful", que el re-make de Megami Ibunroku Persona, estará llegando a Norteamérica en el otoño de este año. Al parecer ATLUS USA esta tomando la serie de Persona seriamente, ya que fue la serie que atrajo a mucha gente a la franquicia de Megaten, porque estarán localizando el juego el mismo año que será lanzado en Japón.

Mas información será revelada en las siguientes semanas así que tal ves podremos esperar la fecha exacta del lanzamiento o tal ves alguna mercadería que será incluida con el juego.

Relax.... there's no imaginable reason why this game would be released as "Revelations" again :rolleyes:

Besides the fact that that would be at least 10x more work than Atlus USA would like to get away with anyway. Though it would be neat if there was a way to play it in "Revelations" mode, but I can assure you that won't happen even if the graphics don't change any quality wise.


As for this NEWS post... I'm a little reluctant to publish it just yet. For one thing that graphic won't do for the job. And for another the English version is going to need a lot of work, and I'm really busy right now. If someone wants to edit the English for me, that would speed things up. I can just post the Spanish without a graphic in the meantime. Just for the record Emilio, you still haven't translated the top post on the blog into Spanish I think (though I might've just missed that)

It seems dumb to me the way the new movies/music try to make MIP seem like a newer Persona game. But the rest of the game appears untouched. I hope the old movies are still in the game!!! The new movies really don't suit the tone at all :doh:

I know the article is still just in Spanish... but I don't really care for now. The news is there. I might mess with the translation system some so that it won't matter what language an article is first published in. I will still need an English title, but frankly whoever wants to add stuff to the website... we can do it in their favorite language for all I care :rainbow:

There're various reasons why I keep bothering with D3, one of them is because my blog is not as popular as this page and because as I said before, I'm a loyal user of D3  :biggrin:

I'm really beginning to get the impression the lack of support is really a show of contempt for the website now... as much as it disturbs me to admit it. I'm feeling pretty demoralized about it. I want to work on the Media Library, and finish the translation facilities... but without an English editor on board, I don't see how the site can continue to grow. And let's face it, people just aren't showing their support for the site.

Plus I gotta get in touch with Jose if not Tony, to figure out who actually has the right to host site. Primarily that is just a question of who "owns" the domain name. Though I would contend the community does (but for now there virtually is no active community obviously) ...mostly I'm really unsure what everyone would want, but my impression is no one actually cares. Getting in touch with Jose much less Tony is damn near impossible :sweatdrop:

Let us keep working with the things we're working right now, everything will come at the right time, we just need to give time to time :wink: We're not going to make anything good if we try to rush things, it will be good if you always try to contact Tony and Jose to deal with the site domain, but in the meantime let's keep working with the "Ritual of Revival" on D3 :dazed:

People who want to help with the site will rise someday, and if not we can try to kill our asses trying to keep up this site up to date and working.

Sembra che Atlus stia prendendo sul serio questa versione aggiornata del classico per PS1, che presenterà novità nel gameplay, cut scene ridisegnate e una nuova colonna sonora interpretata da Yumi Kawamura, la voce di Persona 3.

Per quanto questa conversione non sia una sorpresa (dal momento che la serie "Persona" ha attirato parecchia attenzione, avvicinando molti nuovi giocatori al franchise di "Megaten" negli ultimi anni), noi qui a digitaldevildb.com non vediamo l'ora di averlo tra le nostre mani, anche solo per poterlo giocare lo stesso anno dell'uscita giapponese.

Again, we need an Italian title.

I setup an Italian language icon, but I have reservations about it. I will try to come up with something better, but not being Italian I'm not sure what is appropriate. Just using vertical green/white/red bars looked very gangly and funny (it even looked much taller than the other icons even though it wasn't)

So for now I just stuck the Italian "coat of arms" (according to Wikipedia) over a Italian flag like background :sweatdrop:

It might look better with the flag turned sideways, but I'm not sure if that would be insulting (plus if there gets to be too many flags, they'll probably overlap one another, and then it might not always be clear it is an Italian flag)

Anyway, if you have any icon ideas, please enlighten us~

...so I guess the game is just now coming out in Japan. I've been thinking of picking up a 3000 model PSP, but the odds are only so so.
