I believe you don't fight him either, but my memory is rather sketchy.

Well, an acquaintance of mine played the japanese version and absolutely loved it.
The same person absolutely hated P3 though... sweatdrop

Sorry, missed this post (This forum suite seems to loose track of unread posts too easily frown)

As for Kagutsuchi. I haven't played Nocturne, so I'm in no way an authority. But I thought your question was rather rhetorical, because it seem's like something is trying to "fix" the world, or at least rebirth. If I'd played the game, I could answer you with some authority about Kagutsuchi's role -- but as he is a final boss, I don't know if he's good/bad or indifferent, or what precisely.... seems like he could be any or all from what little I know.
Just trying to confirm my guesses. Thanks for the answer. smile

Yeah, Masakado is an optional boss who gives you a new Magatama for defeating him in the Bando shrine.

I was pretty sure that Izanagi & Izanami were in the older games, but now that I think about it I'm not entirely sure.
Erm... I believe you don't actually fight Masakado. If I remember properly, you have a bout with each of the four guardian Kishins, and then you fight Bishamonten. After that, Masakado shows up and gives you the Magatama.

The lost Jack brother. redface

Necroma-ing this topic

The correct answer is Frost Five:

Well, Frost Five and Baal. Baal, why aren't you in 3D yet? Shame on you Atlus, shame on you.
Neat! hearton
Is that from Devil Summoner, or am I mistaken?

...And what I totally dislike is how the characters and the world of Final Fantasy 8 look. That mix of The 5'th Element, Star Wars and Gianni Versace. It's tasteless like putting a leopard thong on Michelangelo's David.
That was priceless! biggrin

I'll be blunt. Pokémon.

Also Harvest Moon, Creatures, and the Goemon series.
Harvest Moon is a truly awesome series. The PS2 port o Wonderful Life sucked in my opinion, though. sweatdrop

Oh, that's what I'm here for. biggrin

But you didn't answer my question. sweatdrop

Hmmm, maybe I'm thinking of Bloodlines on the Genesis (it also saw a Mega Drive release)

Maybe I'll have to try this one.

I thought Bloodlines was supposed to be a basic port of the PC Engine game, but maybe not.
Nope. Bloodlines is Genesis exclusive. Also, one of the best game in the series. smile

Truth. Gale is the party leader during the power plant mission. Maybe you can find some videos of that on Youtube.

Nope, and Satan doesn't appear either. It is believed that YHVH is the "true enemy" Lucifer talks about, and the voice that speaks in the true demon ending. I remember reading somewhere that the speech pattern is quite different from the usual YHVH in japanese MegaTen games, though.

So it makes sense that Nocturne takes place after the demi-urge (YHVH) was defeated in SMT2. Which seems to explain his absence  tongue
This is very interesting. So this means Kagutsuchi is trying to "fix" the demi-urge's world?

P.S.: Sorry for the thread necromancy. Just found very interesting the whole "dead demi-urge" thingy.

Also, if you don't fuse her she will change into a Queen Mab later.

Hello everyone.

I'm new to these boards, but not exactly new to MegaTen. I played all the games from the classic series, and most of the spin-offs.
I'm not from the US or any english speaking contry for that matter, so excuse me if I write something wrong from time to time.

Can't think of anything else to say right now, so I'll stop here. smile
