Episode 5 was epic, I've regained my interest in this anime.
No lasers and no bufu, agi, and zio, but lots of sword vs lance fighting, very nice animation.
[SPOILER]The afro guy can't control his Persona yet, but Shin has mastered the summoning near the end. Also some shady dudes in suits with a weird looking machine connected to Persona users.

I just downloaded and installed veoh tv so thats how I've been following this..
Guess I can watch this episode to see this..

Yeah,that's how I see it too.It's like they threw in Aki just to "pick up" the series with how it's going,atleast from what I've been hearing. Don't get me wrong,pretty sure Aki showing up was going to happen sooner or later,especially with his voice being heard from the earlier episodes.
To me,even if you threw in other P3 characters...the question is,can the series continue to hold the audience's attention with or without cameo appearances?

It kind of makes sense why Akihiko showed up, Ryo the main guy taking care of the city went missing and instead of introducing a new character, the TS team decided to have him show up.

I know the story is boring so far and the characters are bland but they could just do something to make the character's more interesting or show a little darkside to them. As far as cameos even go at this rate not even a appearance from philemon or minato himself could keep my attention on this anime.
