I used Surt a lot as well, but I down-fused him so he would be immune to ice (in fact, he absorbs it I believe...).
Um, I don't really have a favorite though. The whole thing I like about SMT games is the hundreds of demons you can fuse or convince to join you.

Is really difficult to choose between so many demons, so I can´t say what is my favorite, I like them all, I like a lot the art of KK in both the demons and character from the games, but if I need to choose, I´ll say (if I can choose a Persona) that Hyperion is one of the best, both him Apollo and Chronos.

I always loved Vishnu, Brahma and Beelzebub from Lucifer's Call.
My favourite of all time though is The Harlot. Her design is awesome and has a lot of symbology going on. Her attacks kick demon arse too.

Yeah, I kinda wish I would've bought Maniax but the whole Dante-thing soured me on it. All those Riders look great though, the one with all the eyeballs on his horse especially.

Chu Chulainn- I love his outfit and design. And the figurine looks pretty awesome, too.
Alice- When she uses "Die For Me!" I can't help but laugh.
Oberon- He looks so adorable, and I like when he spins around when he uses dia. And his midsummer's night attack with Titania surprised me the first time I used it (knocked everyone down).
Orpheus- He hits enemies with a harp, and rocks out when he uses magic. Enough said.
Lucifer- JUST LOOK AT HIM!
Suzaku- It's really pretty.
Shiva & Vishnu- They look awesome in battle.
Jack Frost- Adorable.
