To the best of my knowledge, Kaneko did in fact design the characters in P3. It was just decided that the bust art and promo art would be done by Soejima. I may be wrong though. We'll see.

He didn't design the characters in P3 and it shows.

I know what you're saying but I just don't agree with you - Kaneko didn't have anything to do with designing the characters for P3.

Makes you wonder even more why they chose the main cover they did. The inner one is far superior. I'll put this on the front page, thanks for the heads up.
By the phrasing they kind of give the impression that this is the actual cover of the DVD case while the cover we've all seen is more for an outer casing. Am I reading that wrong?
I'm still wondering why they bothered to apparently rename Aegis to Aigis?

You're reading that right. The ugly cover is the outer cover.
Also, Japanese magazine scans have the name as Aigis behind the artwork as well.

I don't really get the Aigis thing either, but I am sure everyone will get used to it as they play through the game.

Also, Japanese magazine scans have the name as Aigis behind the artwork as well. Yeah, it's weird because filenames and such on the Japanese site say "Aegis". It really doesn't matter, either way, but Aegis more directly implied what the name was based on... something I felt was rather fitting.

I'll say, Atlus most probably preferred her name to be spelled as you say it. But I really preferred Aegis over Aigis, like, isn't that how you spell it in Greek ?
