I think I'm getting it as a present cause my Birthday is later that week of it's release. So not gunna preorder and if I don't get it for my birthday I will pick it up a few days later.

I don't really pre-order games unless there's some bonus involved for doing it, so no. I'll just go to gamestop the day of release and buy it.

I used to do that,and still do every now and then...but the reason I pre order more often,is whenever I go to gamestop on the day of the game that is released..I really luck out,when it turns out to be the very last copy.Or it was one of those,as the workers there have told me before,"You got the extra copy because some other person pre ordered it,yet you didn't" type of thing.
Point is,in the area I live in....pre ordering ahead of time,will guarantee you will get it.I mean,I'm sure it's different at other gamestops.

It's weird that some places there is a need to pre-order games cause here unless it's a ridiculously popular "everyone must have" games like brawl... there is no point in pre-ordering (except bonus stuff)

I pre-ordered mine last week at Gamestop. I really only decided to do it since Persona 3 sold out really fast at my gamestop.

I was able to pre-order it to my country (Guatemala) even though it says on the pre-order specifications: "Shipping: Currently, item can be shipped only within the U.S. and to APO/FPO addresses.", So I think there will be no problem if you pre-order it to France (if that was your question :P).
