19. 20 at the end of February. Hooray for not being old enough to legally drink or gamble, but still able to be tried as an adult!

Wow. It's the Cammy. Are you not working at Geek Squad any longer?

No, I'm in college for Horticulture/Aboriculture. Almost done too. :)

Everybody, ask for Kaki's picture!

I take it you don't live in Canada, or France.

I don't want to even touch this. Your friends are grossly misinformed.

Sorry, I should have indicated you probably get it. You need to direct them to the series article at:

>> Your comment opens up a good point there.

With MegaTen games (SMT, Persona, etc.) at what age would players generally  be to be able to:

(a) Enjoy the gameplay. (Battle difficulty, old-school interface-gameplay, etc.)

(b) Appreciate the more mature themes and ideas posed.

*is less pensive about firing up Monster Rancher Advance again, heheh* hearton

That is kind of a though set of questions. I worked at a video game retailer for quite a few years, and never could quite figure out peoples' tastes.  I pushed people hard to check out Nocturne when I worked at GS and I was able to turn a few on to it. But it was odd,....I assumed people who liked Shadow Hearts, would possibly dig SMT. I don't think that was too accurate.

This also brings up a kind of off shoot question that I have thought of since SMT titles have been coming to North America with more frequency. I am not sure that some of these newer SMT titles appeal to me as much as the older ones. It feels like there was a zenith at Nocturne and the other games have lacked since. I kind of relate this to Okada's departure. I also wonder if this is due to my age and when I was first exposed to SMT.

Yes, I agree completely. I do have some friends who really enjoyed Shadow Hearts, but I have never thought of doing that. I'll talk them during lunch. updown

Oh, and thanks again for the link. I got them rethinking now. :)

Well, we can always hope, right? But what I'm a bit worried about is that while the Japanese and American markets are blooming with the SMT-fever, Europe never gets a part of the big cake. -_-
