Or as my dad so eloquently puts it "Spending too much to buy crap they won't need." smug

So what are you planning to do this christmas? ...and how much time do plan on spending fighting the crowds to buy those gifts? :rambo:

Personally I follow the Sally Brown method of gift-giving. Just send money...

Here where I live people my age usually don´t give gifts on birthdays or holydays anymore. It´s more about the party than anything else. dance
Gifts are mostly for children. We *might* get something from our parents and relatives, but it´s usually something kinda cheap, like a book or clothes. No big deal though. keke

Most people I have to buy for don't really care about stuff that's hard to get around the holidays. It's not like I need to buy a Xbox 360 or something. I'm only going to two parties... my parents and my girlfriends' parents.

There's honestly not much I can think of to even ask for. I keep getting asked, but nothing comes to mind. All I am interested in is the new Animal Crossing and I'll be trading in stuff for that. As you get older that aspect of it seems less and less important... for me at least.

My parents asked me to come with them to a Christmas party...we all know I'm just going therefor the prizes though.^^; I'm actually glad Christmas shopping is different here than how it is in the states. Especially last minute shopping...people go...crazy. D:

Christmas shopping wasn't too bad for me. I got all my friends comics/mangas/whatever people call them these days.^^ That and I'm sending out cards. Not too bad. It seems a lot of us don't really want anything this Christmas. D: Were not young anymore!

So, how was everyone´s christmas? I know mine sucked:mad:... My mother dragged me, my brother and my father(well, not so much) to her sister´s home. It was so boring, the only thing to do was sleep or watch my counsin and my brother playing Wnning Eleven nolaff!
At least new year´s eve will be better, that´s for sure :blah:!

May fortune be with you.

My holiday went very well, overall. Every one seemed to like the presents my girlfriend and I got them and I was actually surprised by how much I received. It was nice to see every one again... I'm finding the older I get the less I care about the presents and the more I like just being able to have fun with every one and mess around with the stuff my brothers were given.
