Good news for those who haven't played this wonderfull game (the best of the whole franchise, for me), ATLUS decided to reprint this game, but if you ask me, is too expensive for being a PSX reprinted title.

Lucky for me I got the game before persona 3 came out and for only 20 bucks plus the special cd.

Luckily my brother owns a copy of Persona 2 but he doesn't want to sell it to me  and about Persona 4, damn! I'm counting the days!!

Emilio - Yeah, Gackt is awesome. It's because of his music and watching Japanese tv on my computer I'm learning and speaking the language progressively. But I'm also getting into GazettE and Dir En Grey. I WAS a fan of DéspairsRay but GazettE is way better. However Gackt became my favorite Japanese male singer because of this one song 'Arittake No Ai De' which is kinda helping me win the heart of this girl I'm in love with. If you ask me they should make a Shin Megami Tensei movie or a Persona Live Action movie and have Gackuto play the main character. He's a really good actor [see Moon Child] and seems decent for this kind of movie.

Yeah! Moon Child was awesome! I like both Gackt and Hyde performances on that movie. And yes, I also have a couple of songs from Gackt that I just love, Like "Wasurenaikara" and "Missing" those two are one of the best!!  And you're right, if Tetsuya Nomura use Gackt as the model of Genesis, why don't use Gackt for a model of any SMT protagonist design!  That would be cool!!

I kinda assumed it was a North America printing only... especially because it's apparently just EP / Atlus USA boxart. I know nothing about this news otherwise. Except it should be on the front page

I find it extremely odd a PS1 game is being reprinted in the first place! Unless there were plans to ship an IS build (they should just pay Gemini)
It's being reprinted in Japan too right? I haven't really followed this story... so forgive me for posting in the nude 
edited: Honestly it takes balls to reprint this unless it was part of an IS/EP boxset edition.
