Are you sure? What SMT I version are you playing? 'Cause I remember I fuse Pascal as soon as I got him, just talk to him and when the hero ask if I wanted to have Pascal along, I said YES and then when I reached the Jakyou Manor Pascal appeared along with the other demons I was carrying.

EDIT: I was playing the SNES version.

Well, same here. Except that he doesn't appear on the demon list / fusion chart.

Maybe you did not bring him? I honestly can't remember how it worked. I thought you were forced to fuse him?? Maybe he is not with you?

Try to return to your home and if you see him talk to him and say YES again. I'm not sure, but maybe you can only fuse him the first time you habe been asked to get him along.

If it's just the first time, I would have noticed his name on the chart, which I didn't.
And yeah, it's impossible not to take him along. I would've gone back to check, but I have no idea how to get back there, I'm completely lost.
